Is CannonDebugger Offsetting Physics Bodies Relative to Meshes?

I'm using CannonDebugger (cannon-es-debugger) to visualize physics in my scene.
I noticed that the physics body appears to render in the position of the next mesh; for example, I have a box that seems to be falling rapidly and positioned ahead of where I expect it to be.
Is this normal behavior with CannonDebugger or does it indicate a potential issue in my setup?
