I have been searching for a reliable markdown editor that isn’t deprecated, works well with my Django configuration, and supports markdown/HTML sanitization. I found django_prose_editor, which meets most of my needs, but it appears to lack support for code blocks (using pre and code tags), which are crucial for my site.
Is this a limitation of django_prose_editor, or am I missing a configuration option to enable code block support?
