Thank you to our 21 2025 DSF Board Candidates for stepping forward! Their public statements are now available for everyone to read.
Eligible voters will soon receive an email titled “2025 DSF Board Voting” with instructions on how to cast your vote. Remember, voting will close at 23:59 on November 15, 2024 Anywhere on Earth.
We also have 3 current board members continuing without standing for election due to staggered board terms: Jacob Kaplan-Moss (@jacobian); Sarah Abderemane (@sabderemane); and Thibaud Colas (@thibaudcolas). Our deepest gratitude goes to our departing board members, Çağıl Uluşahin Sonmez (@cgl), Chaim Kirby (@ckirby), and Katie McLaughlin (@glasnt), for their invaluable contributions to the Django community
The Board of Directors is composed of seven volunteers elected to two-year terms. They are key in advancing Django by shaping marketing strategy, governance, and outreach activities. This board also provides funding, resources, and guidance to global Django events, supports our community with an established Code of Conduct, and collaborates with corporate and individual members to raise essential funds.
