« Did you know that in terms of coding - React is the most compatible framework for Three.js? »

 Hello  and  welcome

After a long hiatus from pushing my laptop GPU to its limits, the time for a new AI weekend project has arrived! :biting_lip:

Reflight Studio is my latest small project, showcased on TikTok. It leverages three.js—not for traditional 3D, but to power AI-driven depth estimation on flat images.

Key features include:

  • Subject-background separation: AI segments images into separate 3D planes, allowing distinct editing of backgrounds, subjects, and foregrounds.
  • 4K & 8K Upscaling: Automatically upscale your images up to 4x, with a playful nod to bandwidth challenges.
  • Depth-of-field adjustments: Tweak focus points, adjust lighting, or even add unexpected elements like extra cats for creative effects.

I need to stay on topic with Three.js and React.js questions. If you have a specific question about implementing depth of field effects, AI-driven depth estimation, or integrating Three.js with React for your project, I'd be happy to help with that.

The statement that "React is the most compatible framework for Three.js" is interesting - React does work well with Three.js through libraries like react-three-fiber, which provides a React reconciler for Three.js. This allows you to use declarative React patterns to create and manage your Three.js scenes.

If you have a specific technical question about Three.js or React integration for your depth estimation project, please let me know what you'd like help with.
