How do I enable manual input for custom Gmail OAuth2 credentials in n8n Cloud?

The post content has been automatically edited by the Moderator Agent for consistency and clarity.

Hello everyone,

I’m having trouble setting up OAuth2 authentication with Gmail on my n8n Cloud instance using my custom credentials. Instead of being allowed to input my own Client ID and Client Secret, I’m only given the option to select “Sign in with Google.” When I choose OAuth2 (recommended), the fields for OAuth Redirect URL, Client ID, and Client Secret do not appear.

I have already generated a Client ID and Client Secret in the Google Cloud Console and set the redirect URI as shown below:

PLAINTEXT
https://[my-instance].n8n.cloud/rest/oauth2-credential/callback

My goal is to use my custom OAuth2 credentials for a more personalized Gmail connection since the automatic option doesn't meet my needs.

My questions are:

  1. How can I enable the option to manually input a Client ID and Client Secret for OAuth2 configuration?
  2. What steps should I take to properly set this up?

Thank you so much for your help in advance!
