How can I implement a daily resettable variable for workflow approvals in n8n?

Hi,

I’m building an approval workflow in n8n and need to cap the number of approvals per day. I would like to know if there’s a way to set and reset a workflow variable across different executions to track daily approvals.

Is there a mechanism to have a variable that persists between executions that can be updated or reset daily? Alternatively, are there any best practices or suggestions on how to implement this behavior in n8n?
