Why Are Duplicate and Similar Options Greyed Out in Node Menu?

I've noticed that for all my nodes, the duplicate and similar options appear greyed out (see photo below).
Copy and paste works fine, as do hotkeys, so it seems odd that these features are disabled in the menu. Is this intended behavior or a bug?
