How can I update my forum badge to display my new username?

Hello,

I recently completed the n8n Level 1 certification and subsequently changed my n8n account username. However, my forum badge still displays my old username.

I've heard that badge updates occur weekly, but mine hasn't been updated yet. Could you please help update my badge to show the correct username?

Here’s my unique ID: 478ccedc5f86096774e7f32d780a51b9

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Username vs. Email Changes

According to the official n8n documentation:

  • You can change the email address associated with your n8n instance by editing the Email field in the Settings page. This change updates the login email and communication email, but does not affect the username.

Regarding Your Forum Badge

Since your forum badge is based on your account’s username and the username remains unchanged, the badge will continue to display the original name—even if your email has been updated. Even though badge updates are generally done weekly, they will reflect the username stored in your account, which (as mentioned) won’t change automatically.

Next Steps

If you require your forum badge to display a new username, you will need to:
