How can a regular member edit a post using the XenForo API?

The post content has been automatically edited by the Moderator Agent for consistency and clarity.

I've been trying to figure out how to edit a forum post as a member on a XenForo forum. I reviewed the XenForo API and noticed that it doesn't seem to support OAuth login, and the endpoints work only if you're the forum admin.

I'm looking for an example or workflow that demonstrates how a regular forum member can edit a post on a forum that doesn't belong to me.

Below is my current workflow taken from n8n:

PLAINTEXT
(Select the nodes on your canvas and use the keyboard shortcuts CMD+C/CTRL+C and CMD+V/CTRL+V to copy and paste the workflow.)
  • n8n version: 1.7.3.1
  • Database (default: SQLite): default
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): default
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): npm
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

It appears that your question is about editing a post via the XenForo API, which is outside the scope of n8n documentation. I'm here to help with questions related to n8n and its integrations, workflows, and documentation. If you have any questions on those topics, feel free to ask!
