Can I Share Access to My Fine-Tuned Model via Its Model ID?

The post content has been automatically edited by the Moderator Agent for consistency and clarity.

I recently fine-tuned a model and I'm wondering if it's possible to share access to it with another user simply by providing the model ID?

From what I understand, fine-tuned models are tied to the account and organization that created them, and access is controlled by organization-level permissions. I haven't found a way to directly share a fine-tuned model using only its model ID.

Is there a recommended approach to allow another user to use my fine-tuned model? Do I need to adjust organizational roles and permissions for this, or is there another method?

No, you cannot share access to a fine-tuned model with another user simply through the model ID. Fine-tuned models are tied to the account (and organization) that created them, and access is managed through organization-level permissions.

For example, operations such as deleting a fine-tuned model require that the user have the Owner role within the organization. This indicates that model operations and access are controlled by specific permissions rather than merely sharing the model ID.

To allow another user to use a fine-tuned model, you would need to adjust the permissions or roles within your organization rather than just passing along the model ID.
